Preamble: These general terms and conditions of sale govern all reservations made with SCI DEVI 2020, operating under the brand The Experience, for its villas located in Reunion Island.

Article 1 – Booking

Bookings may be made by email, phone, or through partner platforms (Booking.com, Airbnb…).

A booking becomes effective upon receipt of a 50% deposit for stays booked more than 7 days

before arrival.

For bookings made within 7 days of arrival, 100% of the stay must be paid upfront.

Bookings made more than 30 days prior to arrival: The booking is confirmed upon receipt of a 20% deposit of the total stay.

Bookings made between 30 and 7 days prior to arrival: The booking is confirmed upon receipt of a 50% deposit of the total stay.

Bookings made less than 7 days prior to arrival: Full payment of the total amount is required to guarantee the booking.

Article 2 – Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be notified in writing (email). The refund conditions are as follows:

Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival: Full refund of the deposit.

Cancellation between 30 and 7 days before arrival: 50% of the deposit is retained by the establishment.

Cancellation less than 7 days before arrival: No refund will be made, the full stay amount is due.

Article 3 – Payment of the Balance

For a reservation made more than 30 days before arrival, payment is made in 3 installments: 20% deposit at the time of booking, 30% of the total amount charged 30 days before arrival, and the full balance charged 7 days before arrival.

The balance of the stay must be paid no later than 7 days before arrival at the villa. Payment can be made by bank transfer or credit card. In the event of non-payment of the balance within the deadline, the reservation may be automatically cancelled by The Experience.

Article 4 – Security Deposit and Inventory

Upon your arrival, a security deposit will be required.

This deposit is not charged (bank pre-authorization or check).

It will be returned after verification of the accommodation (check-out inventory), minus any damage found or restoration costs.

Article 5 – Liability and Safety

Damages: The guest is responsible for any damage, breakage or deterioration occurring during their stay, both inside and outside the villa.

Pools: The pools are not supervised. The safety of children is the exclusive and total responsibility of parents or adult supervisors. 

Article 6 – House Rules

Compliance with the house rules, posted in each villa, is mandatory.

Disturbances: Noisy parties and noise disturbances are strictly prohibited in order to preserve the peace and quiet of the neighborhood.

Sanctions: In case of disrespectful behavior or non-compliance with the rules, The Experience reserves the right to terminate the stay immediately, without refund.

Article 7 – Force Majeure

In the event of an unforeseeable event beyond our control (cyclone with red alert, natural disaster, major infrastructure failure), The Experience reserves the right to cancel or modify the stay. In these circumstances, a postponement option or full refund will be offered to the guest.

Article 8 – Disputes

These General Terms and Conditions are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable resolution, the courts of La Réunion shall have sole jurisdiction.
